A fusion of rustic nautical and contemporary fluid, the Envoy Hotel is Boston's latest high end hotel. Inside CW Keller worked on developing a series of amorphous desks, as well as the hotel outdoor bar on the rooftop. Both are made from Corian, which speaks volumes of its design flexibility. The fluid desk element features a seamless thermoformed Corian utilizing heavy engineering and modeling to arrive at a form that is truly hard to rationalize. The outdoor bar is a study in the ability to transition Corian through every tactile surface, from the countertop to the back walls.
